A West Covina woman died while her two children and another driver were injured during a three-vehicle crash on the 10 Freeway in Pomona early Wednesday morning, Oct. 4. The medical examiner's office had not yet publicly identified the driver. The California Highway Patrol described her as 30 years old. It happened on the westbound 10, east of Fairplex Drive, and was reported to the CHP around 12:30 a.m. A crash between a Kia Forte and a semi-truck and trailer led to the Kia overturning and ending up on its roof, said Officer Joseph Davila, a CHP spokesman.
