DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The winning ticket in Wednesday night's $1 billion Powerball drawing was sold in downtown Los Angeles. According to the California Lottery's website, the ticket was sold at Las Palmitas Mini Market, located at 1205 Wall Street. This is the seventh highest jackpot in U.S. history and the third largest for Powerball. It comes with a cash option of $516.8 million. There were also several Match 5 winners in Southern California, including one sold in Northridge and one in La Puente, each worth $448,750.
