Clean and sustainable drinking water fountains were installed by Rowland Water District at Yorbita Elementary School in La Puente and Telesis Academy of Science and Math in West Covina over winter break. The upgrades are part of the district's water conservation initiative, 'What's In Your Water Bottle?' 'Our filling station program helps students reduce their dependence on plastic bottles, eliminating waste and cultivating an appreciation for the convenience and great taste of tap water,' Rowland Water District General Manager Tom Coleman said in a statement.
