ALAMOSA — La Puente Housing Corporation, part of La Puente Home Inc., has purchased the home and property located at 1201 State Ave. for affordable housing. According to a public notice printed in the Valley Courier on Dec. 30, La Puente is seeking $1.2 million in Colorado Division of Housing (DOH) funding to develop three rental units at the location. "The request of funding from DOH is to benefit persons with low and moderate incomes by increasing the availability of affordable housing in the City of Alamosa," according to the notice.
